The 1/2 Inch square drive wrench is precisely designed to provide increased run time， power as well as speed control for unmatched performance. This wrench has a Makita-built brushless motor， which offers 740 ft-lb of fastening torque and 1180 ft-lb of break-away torque. User can achieve precise fastening control through the 3-speed power selection switch that is 0 to 900/0 to 1000/0 to 1800 RPM and 0 to 1800/0 to 2000/0 to 2200 IPM. This electronically-controlled BL™ brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against over-loading， over-discharging and over-heating. It has built-in LED light with pre-glow and afterglow illuminates the work area. Tool features electric brake for increased productivity and easy to operate forward/reverse switch.
