It has Automatic Speed Change™ technology that helps to adjust cutting speed and torque during cutting for optimum performance. Tool powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style battery assures fastest charge time， more working time and minimal sitting time on the charger. Circular saw has X2 LXT® technology that delivers up to 558 crosscuts per charge in 2×4 SPF lumber and up to 291 crosscuts per charge in 2×10 SPF lumber using the two 5 Amp-hour batteries. Electric brake allows the tool to reposition faster for enhanced productivity. Saw featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™， allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time.
