The Makita brushless 14 Inch top handle chain saw comes with a 14 Inch guide bar， saw chain and a chain cover. This saw has the power that is equivalent to 30 cc engine and the torque boost mode works through thick or hard branches. Top handle design makes it ideal for cutting and trimming applications. It operates at a speed of 3940 FPM and the variable speed trigger allows the user to change the speed depending upon the application. The absence of an engine oil， spark plug， air filter or a muffler ensures zero emissions and reduced maintenance. Outer rotor brushless motor utilizes the direct-drive mechanism to increase the power efficiency. Automatic chain lubrication ensures smooth running of the engine and the lock-off lever prevents the chain from accidently starting. Electric brake prevents sudden initiation to enhance productivity. Lateral chain tensioning with a single stud is easy for bar and chain retention and the captured bar nut that is present in the sprocket cover for smooth maintenance. Large oil filling port with a view window helps the user to see the oil level. Rubberized soft grip on the handle makes it easy and comfortable to use. Extreme protection mechanism provides good resistance to dust and water in harsh weather conditions. Star protection computer control ensures good safety from overloading， over-discharging and overheating.
